Who we are. traveltothe.eu is an independent travel-planning service based in the Netherlands. You can reach us at hello@traveltothe.eu.

What we collect

When you send us a request through the contact form, it opens an email from your own mail program to us. We receive what you choose to write: your name, email address and trip details. We use it only to reply to you and to plan your trip, and we keep it for as long as we are working together plus two years, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

This website does not have user accounts and does not set tracking cookies of its own. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and performance, under its own privacy policy.

Fonts

Pages load two typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser sends a request to Google's servers to fetch them, which includes your IP address. No other Google service is used on this site.

Apartment requests and booking partners

When you send an availability request, we pass your dates, party size and any requirements you give us to the owner or agency of the apartment so they can confirm availability. We share only what is needed for that. If a booking goes ahead, the property or its agency may pay us a commission; this does not change the price you pay. Some properties are offered through booking partners who have their own privacy policies, which we link to when that applies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it. Email us and we will respond within a month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
